SAPPHIRE lenses were developed specifically for high-resolution applications and offer a remarkable resolution of up to 3.5 µm pixel size. These lenses fulfil the requirements for the highest image quality and precision in various application scenarios. Their adaptability is an outstanding feature of these lenses. They are optimised for line sensors with 16k/3.5 µm and 12k/5 µm (SAPPHIRE XL: 16k/5 µm) and, with an image circle of 62.5 mm to 82 mm, can be used with both line and area sensors up to 82 mm diagonal. Given the variable requirements of different applications, SAPPHIRE lenses offer 11 different magnification options ranging from 0.07x to 2.0x. A version with beam splitter is available to further improve versatility. In addition, the V70 mounting connection makes it easy to mount and rotate the lens for optimum alignment options.
