The Basler Vision Connector offers a wide range of functions for configuring a Basler camera, such as vignetting correction, sharpness display, or bandwidth manager. The underlying Docker container technology ensures easy deployment, scalability and flexibility. The Basler Vision Connector is available in two versions for single and multi-camera setups via the Siemens Industrial Edge Marketplace:

1. Activate the application with an access code
Fill out the form with a brief description of your use case to ensure feasibility and support. We will send you an access code and you can use the code to activate the application in the Siemens Industrial Edge Marketplace.
2. Initial camera configuration
Download the appropriate version of the Basler Vision Connector application – single or multi-camera version – from the Siemens Edge Management Platform. After installation, in the next configuration step, check the prefilled default camera settings to ensure seamless communication.
3. Select the Industrial Edge device
Use the Basler Vision Connector screen to connect your industrial edge devices that are compatible with the Basler Vision Connector and that you want to connect to Basler hardware.
4. Setting up the configuration in Siemens FlowCreator
Siemens FlowCreator can be used to set up and control the pipelines of Basler cameras. The various camera parameters can also be adjusted for your individual application.
