The Basler 5GigE Interface Card has four ports.

The Network Interface Card (NIC) transmits data from up to four 5GigE cameras.

  • Transmission speed of 5 Gbps per port with a cable length of up to 100 m
  • Jumbo frame support up to 16 KB
  • Autonegotiation (automatic determination of the transmission speed of the connected cameras)
  • Common MAC address range for cameras and NIC
  • Downwards compatible to 2.5 Gbps, 1 Gbps, and 100 Mbps

Important: Use industrial GigE data cables with an additional screw connection on the camera side (e.g. article number 2000027038) to ensure stable and loss-free data transfer.
