Basler Augmented Reality
Whether in production, quality assurance or service: testing and fault analysis of components are only possible with additional data distributed across different systems. The media disruptions are time-consuming and cost-intensive. Our augmented reality system enables content and images to be displayed directly in the live camera image, so everything is visible in one image. This allows you to immediately record information and quickly and accurately implement changes without media disruptions.
Augmented reality in the live camera image
No switching between media formats
Faster control provides time savings
Simplified production steps
How does the augmented reality system work?
With the Basler AR system, text information and images are superimposed directly on a plane in the field of vision. The hardware and software combinations that we coordinate are carefully selected to meet the requirements of the respective application (for example: optical character recognition or automated troubleshooting), allowing full AR capabilities without sacrificing application performance. See our system in action in the video!
Visible advantages
Combining existing data and images with real-time integration into the live camera image
Avoid constant interruptions caused by frequent media changes due to differently formatted data
Searches can be narrowed down using filters to quickly find different information about individual parts for inspection tasks
An option for distance measurements simplifies quality control: with the installed point-to-point measurement, it only takes two mouse clicks to precisely determine distances.
Diverse application areas
Whether you're working with Industry 4.0 & automation, battery cell production, or the electronics industry: our camera-controlled AR application can be used in almost all industrial sectors. This allows you to experience a completely new level of quality in production, quality assurance, or repair when checking or restoring individual components.
