Our GMSL camera for fast embedded vision systems
GMSL (Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link) is a high-speed serial interface and the latest addition to our ace 2 camera platform.
Embedded camera for various host systems
The ace 2 GMSL is supplied with ISP and firmware on board and is therefore independent of the capabilities of the host processor. Any processor with MIPI CSI ports can be supported.
Initially, the NVIDIA® Jetson™ Orin processors are supported, but other processor lines can be integrated on request. You can request a GMSL frame grabber for use with PCs along with the camera.

Long cable length and reliable interface
The GMSL interface offers high speeds and bandwidths of up to 12 Gbps with cable lengths of up to 15 metres. This makes it well suited for real-time applications, and it also delivers impressive performance:

The Basler ace 2 GMSL camera is also suitable for mixed camera systems with GMSL, GigE, and USB.
