Sustainability at Basler
Improve quality of life with computer vision
For us, sustainability is best reflected in the areas of environment, social affairs, and corporate governance. We publish an annual sustainability report in accordance with section 289 of the German Commercial Code. We gain additional information through the assessment of rating agencies such as EcoVadis and MSCI.
Silver Medal in the EcoVadis Sustainability Rating
With 66 out of 100 points, Basler achieved 88th percentile rank in the EcoVadis sustainability rating, earning the silver medal. This reflects a commitment to sustainability that is significantly higher than the average.
EcoVadis assesses a company's performance in the areas of: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, assigning different weights to each category to create an overall sustainability rating.
Sustainability Report
At Basler, we are committed to improving quality of life for people. We do this not only through our business, but through our support for economic and professional growth, health, the quality of the environment and the climate we live in, and equality of opportunities, participation, and the respect with which we are treated. We also want to contribute to the quality of life of future generations and the world we leave for them. We accomplish this with our products, both with how they are used, and with how we produce them.
