The new mounting bracket for the blaze makes your RGB-D solution even easier. Combine the RGB data of a Basler area scan camera like the ace 2 with the depth data of the Basler blaze camera and get 3D point clouds in true color.
Our new mounting bracket suitable for industrial use is now available for your blaze RGB-D solution. The bracket allows a Basler ace or ace 2 camera to be attached to a Basler blaze camera. The image data acquired in this way from close to the same position can be processed into RGB-D point clouds.
What added value does an RGB-D solution offer?
An RGB-D solution combines a 3D and a color camera: the depth and color data obtained in this way can be superimposed. This can help to compensate for missing depth information, or perform classifications additionally based on object color, or also simplify scene understanding.
